Recruitment Process

Application and In-person Interview:

  • Submission: Candidates typically start by submitting an online application. This may include a resume (CV) and or cover letter
  • Initial Screening: Candidates will be screened over the phone and then invited in for an interview if mandatory requirements have been met.

CAREGiver Attributes

  • CAREGivers are people who are resilient, resourceful, empathetic, competent, creative and most of all compassionate. They are interested in and enthusiastic about working with, and assisting older people with their daily living activities.
  • No prior certifications or qualifications are necessary. Training is provided to all CAREGivers through an internal training and development program.
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and dependable
  • Be enthusiastic, and have an interest in working with and assisting older people
  • Be able to work independently with clients and contribute to the overall CAREGiver team
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
  • Read and write English at an average adult level
  • Have a suitable level of fitness to enable home support activities to be delivered
  • Be willing to be trained and learn about the needs of our clients in order to effectively assist them
  • CAREGivers will be required to have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate

All applicants must be an Australian citizen or a Permanent resident of Australia. 

All offers of employment are conditional upon presentation of a valid Police Certificate.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Salary range is $35.26 - $39.20

Kilometers are paid in between visits
